White Mountain Farm

Mosca, Colorado

Paul and Cindy New of White Mountain Farm in Mosca, Colorado are proud to share three decades of certified organic Quinoa production with consumers around the globe.

The News and White Mountain Farm Manager Fred Mason also raise certified organic specialty potatoes, organic Colorado certified seed potatoes, organic rye and an organic market vegetable garden. For three generations, the farm has dedicated itself to chemical-free agriculture and the promotion of  healthy land stewardship. They are constantly working within their community  because they believe without a strong community, there is no reason to farm. They follow a no-till methodology, intercrop with nitrogen-fixing clover and practice a healthy crop rotation.

In 1997, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce named Paul a Young Outstanding Farmer for his exceptional progress in  agriculture and contributions to the community.

The News also own the Mosca Pit Stop and co-manage White Rock Specialties, a Quinoa and organic potato packaging warehouse, with Rockey Farms. The packaging warehouse is also home to the Valley Roots Food Hub. www.whitemountainfarm.com
